Prices are inclusive of 1.5 hours labour, which normally is enough time to carry out a standard air conditioning service on a fully working system. A MINIMUM call out fee of £60 is charged for air conditioning systems that is not working. This covers up to the first hour inclusive of fault finding, after that my hourly rate applies and mileage charged over 10 miles radius from my home.

Basic re-gas service (up to 750g of R134a) from = £85

Platinum service (up to 750g of R134a) from = £100

Basic re-gas service (up to 750g of R1234YF) from = £140

Platinum service (up to 750g of R1234YF) from = £160

Vehicles using over 750g of either R134a or R1234YF – POA

OFN Pressure test = From £20

ODB diagnosis/reset charged = £40

PAG, POE oils, dyes & leak stopper etc added separately to invoice.

Odour removal deodoriser treatment = £30

Air conditioning disinfectant kills 99.9% viruses = £40

Hourly rate @ £50 per hour, this rate also goes for replacing faulty parts.

Mileage charged over 10 miles from my home (Burmarsh) = £1.00 per mile

All parts used come with a 2 year warranty and on completion a service sheet is issued to prove the air conditioning service has been carried out properly therefore protecting the environment.

Payment is easy – via portable contactless card payment machine, cash or bank transfer..

Qualifications

Persons are required by ‘law’ to be qualified to handle refrigerants and service mobile vehicle air conditioning systems. Part of the ‘F’ gas regulations mobile air conditioning systems (M.A.C.S) City & Guilds 7543 001 /002, levels 1, 2 & 3 are obtained by suitable training theory in a classroom and practical hands-on-working on vehicles and finally sitting a written exam and interview.

Richard is qualified in all disciplines.

Level 1 – is a qualification required to be able to recover refrigerant from the car before being crushed/recycled, for example scrap car dealers would need this.

Level 2 – is a qualification that is required to be able to handle (recover/charge) refrigerant in a vehicle, this is the minimum requirement for an air conditioning Technician.

Level 3 – is the highest award achievable and is only awarded when levels 1 & 2 has been obtained. A technician at this level can trace, fault-find and repair complex faults on a vehicles air conditioning system.

I carry out work at a location of your choice and at a time to suit you, meaning less disruption to your busy schedule.
